Leaving a Legacy
There are different ways you might wish Relate to benefit after your death. A legacy to Relate could take the form of a gift of money or possessions:
- You can leave the residue of your estate or part of it to Relate
- You may make a pecuniary bequest, which is a gift of a stated cash sum. It is tax-free if given to charity.
- You can make a reversionary bequest. This means that the gift in your will reverts to Relate when the original beneficiary dies. The wording for this can be complex so please consult a solicitor
- You can request that 'In memoriam' donations be made to Relate instead of sending flowers
