Think counselling might help solve your problems?
A consultation with a counsellor will help you, with or without your partner or family, to discuss what might be the best route forward to resolve your issues.
For couples, a consultation will involve three sessions, one with you and your partner and one with each of you alone. For individuals, it will involve one session.
It might be that this is enough to start you on the road to solving your problems and counselling is not needed right now. Or you can go on to have as many counselling sessions as you feel is right for you. There is no waiting between the consultation and on-going counselling - you will be able to continue the following week.
We strive to offer you a counselling slot within two weeks of you contacting us and it sometimes depends on your ability to be flexible with times and venues whether you will be able to take this up. The more flexible your availability the quicker we will be able to offer you counselling.
If you find you have to wait for counselling and things are getting worse, consider using our Here and Now service which is designed to help you deal with immediate issues.
All our consultations are provided by fully trained and experienced counsellors and on occasions there may be two counsellors with you for training and monitoring purposes.
