How do I make an appointment?

To make an appointment to see a counsellor call our Appointments Secretaries on 01245 258680 or email us.  We try to ensure you see a counsellor within two weeks of your call and the more flexible you can be the easier it is to ensure this happens.  Your first appointment will be for a consultation to see if we are right for you.  After that you may want to continue with counselling and we aim to ensure this happens as soon as possible after your consultation. 


What happens if I have to cancel or reschedule a counselling appointment?


To cancel or reschedule an appointment you need to contact the Appointments Secretary 48 hours in advance of the appointment within working hours (9-5 Monday to Thursday and 9-1 on Fridays).

For an appointment during the day, notification must be received by the corresponding time 2 days prior to the appointment. For example:

1. An appointment for 10am on Saturday must be cancelled / rescheduled before 10am on the previous Thursday. Less than this will result in not enough notice being given.

2. You wish to cancel your appointment for Thursday 8pm. You need to contact the Appointments Secretaries before 5pm on Tuesday i.e. at least 48 hours in advance of the appointment. A message left after this time would not be accessed till 9am on Wednesday morning therefore not giving 48 hours notice.

If you do not wish to reschedule the appointment, a full refund will be given.
